He Health Department recorded the death of a 26-year-old woman from COVID-19, who resided in the island’s metropolitan region, the agency said in a statement.
With this death, the number of deaths from the novel virus rises to 152. Of these, 58 are confirmed and 94 are probable.
However, Salud also reported 19 confirmed cases of the disease and 113 probable.
In total, in Puerto Rico there have been 1,602 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began in March. This line belongs to those who have a positive PCR test.
On the other hand, a total of 5,464 probable cases. This number includes 12 newly added cases with a sample date of April 23 to June 9.
