Kaloyan Pargov: BSP must participate in the change that is coming – 2024-04-30 11:47:10

/ world today news/ On July 11, the party will appear for a remedial exam and must take it, the leader of the BSP – Sofia is categorical

There is a great dynamic in the political process. A reorientation of large electoral groups is visible. The April 4 election, as easy as it was to predict, turned out to be a surprise. July 11th is the BSP remedial date and we will do our best to pass this exam. This was said by the chairman of the BSP – Sofia Kaloyan Pargov in an interview with NOVA NEWS.

According to him, what is important is what will happen after July 11 – will a government be formed, how will it be formed, will a program be drawn up, how will it affect people’s lives.

Politics is a complicated thing, there is no place for emotions and personal attitudes, nor for cheap banter. We are talking about responsibility here. Bread and spectacle is hardly the most useful thing at the moment. Now we need a conversation about the future,” Pargov believes.

He explained that there is a sense of the arrival of something new, but the protest parties are not entirely the bearer of it, because they too have a problem in formulating the future.

“There is a desire to make a new beginning after the past period of government, which left a feeling of injustice. The BSP must participate in the change that is coming,” the leader of the capital’s socialists is convinced.

The chairman of the “BSP for Bulgaria” group in the Capital Municipal Council said that the Plan for Reconstruction and Development includes funds for the extension of the metro to the “Slatina” and “Levski” districts.

According to him, the project is necessary and it should be developed not on a radial basis, but on a ring basis, as it is in the big capitals.

Pargov stated that Sofia lost nearly BGN 200 million under the Operational Program “Environment” for financing projects for the construction of sewerage and water supply. “I am co-presenter in the SOS of the general report on the needs of the capital in the water sphere, and I can say that nearly BGN 2 billion investments are needed. They cannot happen immediately. It turned out that the GERB government did not release the 350 million leva that we all voted for in the municipal council,” he explained.

Kaloyan Pargov believes that co-financing for the rehabilitation would be reasonable and acceptable, but particularities and exceptions must be taken into account. And he gave an example that an elderly person with an income of BGN 300 cannot participate in co-financing.

“A price threshold is also needed. Perhaps in the next stages of the rehabilitation, it would be nice to prepare model projects, in which, depending on the type of building, there are also price thresholds,” said Kaloyan Pargov.

Buying and selling votes is a crime!
