Health: Changes to Corona strains do not need to amend treatment protocols

The head of the Scientific Committee to Combat Coronavirus, Dr. Hosam Hosni, confirmed that the urgent changes to the newly discovered strains of Coronavirus do not need to amend the current treatment protocols.

This came in press statements during the press conference held today, Thursday, December 24, in the presence of members of the scientific committee to combat the emerging corona virus, the Chamber of Medicine Industry, and the Arab Company for Drug Industries and Medical Supplies “ACDIMA”.

Hossam Hosni added that the development of the virus did not affect the diagnosis or treatment, stressing the effectiveness of vaccines in preventing Corona with its new strains.
