Kasım Sarıboğa (42), who killed his wife Sultan Sarıboğa (40), whom he thought cheated on him, by cutting his throat in Adana, was caught and arrested. It turned out that the suspect left his two children with his cousin hours before the murder, and the other child was at school.

According to the news of DHA, the incident occurred on the ground floor of a 2-storey house at around 13.30 on March 22. Kasım Sarıboğa had an argument with his wife, Sultan Sarıboğa, who is the mother of 3 children, whom he thought was cheating on him. During the discussion, Kasım Sarıboğa cut his wife’s throat with a knife he took from the kitchen.

While the woman collapsed to the ground in blood, the suspect got on his motorcycle and fled. Sultan Sarıboğa, who crawled open the door, asked for help from his neighbors. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon the notification. Sultan Sarıboğa, who was given first aid, died in the private hospital where he was taken.

HE WAS ARRESTED BY THE COURT

The teams of the Public Security Branch Office of the Homicide Bureau started work to catch the suspect. It turned out that Kasım Sarıboğa had left his two children with his cousin hours before the murder, while the other child was at school at that time. Examining the security camera records in the area, the police caught the suspect in a street close to the scene.

Kasım Sarıboğa, who was taken to the police station, claimed in his statement that his wife had cheated on him and that he wanted to talk about it, but an argument broke out. Kasım Sarıboğa, who was transferred to the courthouse after his proceedings, was arrested by the court he was brought to. The body of Sultan Sarıboğa, whose autopsy was completed in Adana Forensic Medicine Institute, was taken by his relatives and buried in Mardin.
