To Pisgah, in Iowa, a night out with friends turned into drama. This story, which dates back to the month of December 2020, told by The Independent, is that of Kristofer Erlbacher, 29 years old and Caleb Solberg, 30 years old. Both of them, accompanied by a third man were drinking beers in a bar when the first put mayonnaise in Caleb’s dish Solberg. The latter took it badly and an argument broke out. Argument that turned into a fight between the two men. Death threats have also been made : Caleb Solberg provoked his friend by telling him he was going shoot him down and burn down his house.
Once out of the bar, tensions between the two men continued. While Caleb Solberg’s half-brother had come to pick him up, Kristopher Erlbacher got into his pickup and drove at the two men. Caleb then collapsed on the floor. His “friend” repeatedly drove at him until he died.
The accused has just been tried and has recognized the facts. After the hearing, the judge said that “rather than just leaving, Erlbacher (Kristofer) turned around and came to hit Solberg (Caleb) a second time. To be sure he finished the job, he drove his pickup over Solberg one last time again”.
Krisyofer Erlbacher has been sentenced to life in prison at the age of 29. He will end his life in prison for the murder of his friend.
