Criminal Investigation Services of the Fayoum Security Directorate revealed the fact that a third-year student from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Fayoum University committed suicide by jumping off the fourth floor after making sure the runway was empty of students.
Major General Tharwat Al-Mahlawi, director of security at Fayoum, received a notification from Brigadier General Mahmoud Moftah, the first superintendent of the Fayoum department, that a student named “Mahmoud MA” in the third year of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the ‘Fayoum University, resided in the village of Al-Agamyin of the Ibshaway Center, jumped from the fourth floor after finishing classes today and Sunday.
Investigations by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Hussein Tarfaya, head of investigation of the first department of the Fayoum under the supervision of Major General Hossam Anwar, director of the criminal investigation department of the governorate, revealed that the student was in a very bad psychological state, and that he waited. for the students to leave the track after the end of the last lesson and he launched himself from the fourth floor.
The brother of the pharmacy student, who studies at Helwan University’s Faculty of Commerce, told investigative authorities that his brother had been treated for a mental illness for a year and a half and that he suffered from a severe psychological disorder during the last period.
The suicidal student stated on his personal page on the social network “Facebook” that he no longer interacts with members of the community, that he no longer accepts him, and that he is on the way to salvation from his life.
The body of the student was transferred to the mortuary of the Fayoum University Hospital and was notified to the prosecution Bandar Al-Fayoum, who decided to bury the body of the dead student because there were no criminal suspects, and it was issued report no. 38.
