Havlíček: From Monday the fourth degree, pubs and hotels will close later

According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček, the government has no other choice and must tighten regulations again. “With a long time ago absolute certainty on Monday we will move to grade four,” told Nova TV.

Shops and services will remain in operation. But pubs, restaurants or hotels are most likely to close again. They only opened last Thursday. Havlíček is said to be preparing a generous compensation program.

“It will also have an impact on some businesses. We will keep the retail and services regime as it has so far. Indeed, it is very likely that restaurants, hotels, guesthouses will close, but certainly not immediately. We will prepare a support plan again. This time it will be a generous plan and I will propose very high compensation, “the Deputy Prime Minister promised.

Some owners of the businesses in question are preparing a lawsuit against the state. Closing before the Christmas holidays and New Year’s Eve celebrations are considered completely liquidating.

“Of course it’s their right. Our job is to protect our health, and we don’t like it. Unfortunately, the situation is as it is. We have to take certain measures, and unfortunately this is one of them. Mobility must be reduced, but we will compensate, “Havlíček added.

The next step will be decided definitively at a government meeting on Monday. Like Havlíček, however, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (YES) has already spoken. According to him, the return of the fourth stage of the PES system is “without debate”.
