The life of the legendary pop diva Margarita Vilcāne during the last year and a half was full of severe challenges – her health problems and the death of her husband’s writer Jurijs Skops. As Margarita is doing now, she is revealed in Evija Kalnbērza’s material “The Singer Enjoys Summer by the Sea” in the edition “Privacy”.
As Vilcāne reveals, she is now enjoying the summer at her home in Upesgrīva.
“Everything here is very nice. The days are going well, I am quite self-sufficient, and I am not bored with myself. Health is with me, thank God,” Vilcāne cheerfully expresses, making it clear that everything is fine for her.
Vilcāne says that she is helped by her cousin and friends, but the biggest assistant is her son, composer Andris Vilcāns, who has been living in Latvia for some time, but this week she is going back to America, where she has been living with her family for many years.
It should be noted that in December Margarita will turn 80 years old. She reveals that there are thoughts of private celebrations, but nothing formal.
