After riots and demonstrations in Vienna’s favorites on several days in a row, the workers’ district in the south of the federal capital is still in focus. The starting point was a Kurdish rally that was attacked by Turkish ultra-nationalists. As reported, there were violent clashes between Kurdish and left-wing demonstrators on the one hand and Turkish ultra-nationalists on the other. Among them were members of the right-wing extremist Gray Wolves. Seven police officers were injured.
