The Holon Puppet Theater Center invites you to family theatrical tours in Hanukkah at the Museum of Puppet Theater Art. The Jinja doll and a puppeteer will take us on a journey among hundreds of theater puppets, present short shows for you and guide you in a creative workshop for Hanukkah.
The activity is intended for children aged 4 and over, and lasts about an hour and a half. The workshops will be held Sunday through Thursday, December 10 to 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The puppet theater art museum is the only one of its kind in Israel and among the few in the world and offers unique collections of hundreds of traditional and contemporary theater puppets, as well as changing exhibitions dedicated to special types of puppets, or to creators from the field of stage and video media, from Israel and abroad. The new main exhibitions are: Mdaver | Noa Ariel’s Puppet Theater’, featuring over sixty puppets designed and built by Alex Margold, Irina Litsky, Maria Gurevich and Esther Kogan Packer for performances by the late puppeteer Noa Ariel, and the exhibition ‘Puppets in Motion’ – from the photographs of the puppeteer and New York photographer Richard Tormani
