Hamburg (dpa / lno) – Hamburg’s daycare centers are open again for all children from today, Monday, and without time limits. Because of the now low corona numbers, the facilities are switching to normal, regular operation. According to the social authorities, the hygiene regulations and infection protection precautions must continue to be observed.
Due to the corona pandemic, the daycare centers have been in restricted regular operation since mid-March, with some shorter care times. During the restrictions, the social welfare authority said it took over the family’s own shares and supported families with around 59 million euros. In addition, the financing of the daycare centers themselves has been secured, so that they are now available to the same extent as before.
