Halo Infinite: the campaign will be playable with two players in split screen and up to four online – News

Put aside on Halo 5: Guardians, split-screen gaming will make a comeback with Halo Infinite. Jerry Hook, Head of Design at 343 Industries, returned to this feature by clarifying that the campaign will be playable for two players on the same console, not four players.

The information of a campaign playable up to four players in split screen has indeed circulated in recent days, but the functionality will actually be limited to two players. Up to four players will nevertheless be able to experience the new adventures of the Master Chief online, which Microsoft gave us a preview last Thursday with a gameplay extract.

Halo Infinite will of course also have a multiplayer mode when it is released, but the presentation of the latter will take place later in the coming months. The game will land at the end of 2020 on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
