Hallucinatory images. A director of DSP Arad used a device with electroshocks at work: “Wow, you shocked me!”

Not only did he bring them, but he also used them. It all ended with the intervention of the police, called by the frightened employees.

“-What are these, sir? What are those? Spray, yes? Spray and? -Come on, sir, come here, let me see if you have the courage. Do, Do! Come update me. – What are you doing Mr. Director? – Alas, you have updated me! Sir, do you want to kill me?”

The hallucinatory images were captured in the headquarters of the Public Health Directorate in Arad. It was the economic director of the institution who came to work with the electroshock machine and the paralyzing spray.

Gabriela Moț, DSP Arad doctor: “He took out the spray from his pocket and went to get a device with electroshocks from his purse. He put it on his hand and from there it calmed down somewhat because the director intervened and left the office.”

Scared of what could happen, the employees called 112. The protagonists arrived at the hearings.

Paul Petrașca, DSP Arad assistant: “After we came from the police, he came to the office and started threatening us again. He continues to put pressure on us and we would really like to see something done in return. We are afraid to come to work.”

Scandals have been going on at DSP Arad for months, employees say.

Otinel Şandru, union leader: “We received notifications regarding the abuse or inappropriate behavior at the workplace of Mr. Economic Director. I had discussions with the director of DSP who told us that she informed the Ministry of Health, the disciplinary commissions. Research is pending, a response is awaited.”

The economic director had just returned from leave, and now he has a criminal record for carrying and using dangerous objects. In November, the director had another conflict with a colleague. Everything ended then with the intervention of the police.
