Halloween Kills: Michael Myers promises blood in new film image

Halloween is one of the most famous horror franchises of the 7th Art. Launched in 1978 by John Carpenter via the first film of the saga, it subsequently experienced more or less forgettable episodes. After the two controversial remakes of the franchise by Rob Zombie in the 2000s, fans had the great joy of reuniting with killer Michael Myers and the return of his favorite prey Laurie Strode in Halloween, released in 2018. Above all, the film was shaping up to be a direct sequel to the cult 1978 feature film.

An anniversary film therefore, which was rather well received since it grossed 255 million dollars, which made it the most commercially successful episode of the saga. The license is therefore indeed back in the foreground, with this Halloween Kills which will continue the events of 2018. It should also be noted that this rebirth could end with Halloween Ends, scheduled for 2022.

A terrifying new image

Originally scheduled for October 2020, Halloween Kills had to be postponed until this year, the Covid-19 pandemic requires. To make the spectators languish a little more, the production has therefore shared new images of the film via the magazine Empire. We thus discover a visual focused on the famous masked killer. We can see Michael armed with his trusty kitchen knife, already bloody. Additionally, the psychopath appears to have the mask more charred than usual, in reference to the previous episode where the Strode women allied in an attempt to burn him alive.
