Hadi Pranoto’s Herbal Problem, Researcher: There is no Corona medicine yet

VIVA – The rise of issues on various social media channels about herbal products that are claimed to cure COVID-19 patients by the figure of Hadi Pranoto is considered to have made the public uneasy. Prof. Amin explained, drugs have three groups. First, there is a group of traditional medicines that only increase the body’s resistance so that in general it is expected to maintain immunity.

“It (herbal medicine) is included in the first group, supplements, it’s okay. The Ministry of Research and Technology also supports it so that we don’t get sick or prevent it from becoming severe. People who take the drug can recover, but naturally it doesn’t heal,” he explained.

The second class of drugs is drugs used to treat symptoms. Finally, drugs used to treat causes such as the new type of corona virus.

“There are drugs that treat symptoms such as diarrhea, heart problems and so on. There are also drugs to overcome the causes, but for COVID-19 it has not been found,” explained Prof. Amin.
