As such, the leader of “And Suxxali Senegal” decided to take young volunteers from his movement to organize them into an awareness committee on the dangers of covid-19. “These young volunteers will be responsible for reaching out to the populations to discuss with them the respect of health protocols which are for the moment the only shields against the spread of the coronavirus”, he confides, stressing that “today , the situation calls for another so-called Community approach for the simple reason that Community cases have become uncontrollable and that the region is not spared because of its position as a transit point for many travelers “.
Given this state of affairs, Habib Niang believes that it is necessary to increase awareness among the populations to further encourage them to take ownership of barrier gestures to protect themselves from Covid-19. “I will spare no effort in raising awareness because at the current state of affairs, only community involvement can help us get out of this global crisis. As a political actor and ally of President Macky Sall, he is in my hands. duty to participate actively in community sensitization, “he informs.
The leader of “And Suxxali Senegal” also invited goodwill and political actors to do the same to win the fight against the common enemy.
