A 29-year-old miraculously survived a serious accident at Stephansposching in the Deggendorf district with minor injuries on Sunday evening.
Tree “parts” car
As the police reported on BR request, the man was too fast from Stephansposching in the direction of B8 at around 10 p.m. In a curve he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree. The vehicle was almost torn in two, the tree then “stood” in the area of the rear seats.
Driver had been drinking alcohol
As the police also announced, the 29-year-old was only slightly injured and was taken to a hospital for an examination as a precaution. The driver had alcohol in his blood at the time of the accident.
