The Radiodiagnosis Breast Section of the Valle del Guadalhorce Hospital, employee of the Clinic of Malaga, has from this week the activity of a consultation in which women who are in the process of confirmation breast cancer diagnosis can be served with psychological therapy by a professional.
The start of this activity was possible with the collaboration of the association A Yes for Life-United against Cancer which operates in this area of the Guadalhorce Valley to support patients suffering from oncological diseases and with which the hospital maintains a collaboration agreement both in this center and in the clinical hospital in the capital of Malaga, where other projects are already being developed.
In the same way, the women who are called to carry out the study in the breast section of this center are assisted by the psychologist of the association in the same area of Radiodiagnosiswith the aim that they face the disease with the advice of a professional and that they can clarify all their doubts.
At the moment, this the consultation will run once a weekalthough coverage is planned to increase depending on the volume of women who need it, as indicated by the council in a note.
