Trump has also made unfriendly comments about Greta Thunberg. Earlier, in September 2019, when the Swedish activist was at the United Nations, where she spoke at a climate summit, Trump had also made fun of Greta Thunberg’s views and vehement tone.

For his part, Joe Biden praised Thunberg’s action in April and said he is aware of young people’s aspirations on environmental issues.
