According to Polsat News, the current owner of 17 horses was to buy them from farmers and then sell them. The animals were kept in garages, barns and utility rooms. They have not received food or water for weeks, their condition is critical.
– When I entered, I cried when I saw Fryz, who is a skeleton covered with skin, standing alone in a decaying barn, without food, without water, tied on a rope, in his own excrement – said in an interview with Polsat Krystyna Kukawska from “Lord’s Grace” Foundation.
The Foundation, together with the Animal Emergency Association, policj± and veterinary services took part in the intervention near Szamotuły. Now the health and life of horses depends on veterinarians.
According to unofficial information, the farm owner lost his permit to buy and trade animals years ago. Now he faces three years in prison for abusing animals.
