A4 Krakow – Katowice. Price list, increases from October 1, 2020

From Thursday, drivers will pay more for the A4 motorway between Katowice and Krakow. The increases will apply to vehicles from the first category, i.e. passenger cars.

The change in fees applies only to vehicles in the first category, i.e. cars with two axles. The fee will increase from PLN 10 to PLN 12 at each toll plaza (PPO) on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway, i.e. in Mysłowice and Balice. This means that drivers will pay PLN 24 for the entire distance, not PLN 20 as before.

Motorcyclists will be entitled to a discount of PLN 6, so they will pay PLN 6 for each gate.

The rates for the motorway section with vehicles of other categories, i.e. the second and third category (PLN 20 for each PPO) and the fourth and Friday category (PLN 35 for each PPO) will not change.

Automatic payments on A4

From Thursday, the level of the preferential rate for the passage of category one vehicles (excluding motorcycles) with the use of automatic payments will also change. It will be PLN 8 for each PPO, compared to PLN 7 applicable until September 30.

From the beginning of this year, the company Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska, which manages the 60-kilometer section of the A4 motorway between Katowice and Krakow, decided to introduce preferential rates for drivers using automatic payment methods: A4Go, Autopay, SkyCash or Telepass.

“Passenger car drivers using the A4Go electronic toll collection in the prepaid formula, until September 30 this year, can buy impulses for journeys on the A4 Katowice-Krakow motorway for PLN 7, with which they will be able to pay for journeys for the next two years” – reads the company’s announcement.

Preferential rates will be kept for journeys of vehicles of other categories, i.e. the second and third category (PLN 17 for each PPO) and the fourth and fifth category (PLN 30 for each PPO).
