“Travel was one of the most missed activities last year. We see a lot of catching up to do, especially when it comes to trips to the sea. Alongside Greece, Cyprus is trendy this summer. We are very pleased that we can now offer Cyprus to our customers in southern Austria and neighboring countries from the beginning of August to the beginning of November directly from Graz on a weekly basis, ”says Gottfried Math, Managing Director of TUI Austria.
“With the new summer destination to Cyprus, the recovery process at the airport continues”, informs DI Wolfgang Malik, CEO of Holding Graz. “In addition to the resumption of scheduled flights and the attractive summer offer, this is another sign that Graz is taking off again.”
“Cyprus is the perfect choice for a beach holiday not only in summer, but also in autumn,” explains Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport. “We are very pleased that our partner TUI is reacting so flexibly and courageously to the Corona situation and that we can offer passengers from Graz another new, attractive destination”.
Cyprus is not the only destination with which TUI is responding to the changed demand situation. The departures to the two holiday islands of Heraklion and Rhodes were also extended well into autumn, until the end of October.
