Gold prices rose in the local market for the second day in a row, during Tuesday’s trading, as the gram increased by about 5 pounds, compared to yesterday’s level, so that the value of the increase in the last two days became 9 pounds.
Naguib Club, former general secretary of the Gold Merchants Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of 21 carat gold today rose to 830 pounds, compared to 825 pounds yesterday.
The price of an 18-carat gram during today’s trading reached about 711 pounds, and the price of a 24-carat gram reached 949 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold was about 6640 pounds.
Globally, gold prices rose by 0.17% during today’s trading, as the price of an ounce rose by about $ 3.31 compared to the end of yesterday’s trading, to record $ 1,898 at 12:45 pm Cairo time, according to Bloomberg data.
