Goa Murder Case: Clues Found in Hotel Room of Bengaluru CEO Accused of Killing Son

Bengaluru: Three things helped the police to find the accused in the case of the murder of a four-year-old boy by the CEO of a consulting company in a hotel room in Goa. The police recovered a knife, towel and pillow from the room where the accused Suchana Seth and the murdered son stayed.

On January 6, Suchana Seth took a room with her son at the service apartment in Goa. After killing the child, they put it in a bag and returned from Goa to Bengaluru on January 8. When the staff of the apartment went to clean the room, they found blood stains on the towels. Then the hotel staff informed the police.

The post-mortem report said that the child was killed by suffocation with a pillow or some cloth. Suchana told the police that she tried to commit suicide after killing the child. The police believe that the blood seen on the towel may be from the cut of the arm vein. Police called Suchana to ask about the blood stain while on her way to Bengaluru. Then Suchana first replied that it was menstrual blood.

During the interrogation, Suchana clarified that she attempted suicide. But the reason for the suicide attempt is not clear. The police pointed out that it is believed that the child was killed as a revenge against her husband during marital troubles. This is yet to be clarified. Suchana remains in police custody.

Suchana has denied the charge during interrogation. They said that when they woke up in the morning, they found the child dead. The investigating officers said that they did not believe this. Suchana’s phone call records are being checked. During the three days of the incident, Suchana is trying to find out who she was talking to and what she was talking about.
