In 1991, the Izvor Orchestra invited her to be their singer, and a year later they left to work in Montenegro. But after returning to their homeland, Gloria left them and with three other musicians created her own band called “Lira”. In the beginning he performed hits by Georgi Hristov, Lili Ivanova and Lepa Brena, and gradually he started singing songs by Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Madonna. She recorded her first album with Maxim Goranov from “Diana Express”, who was impressed by her skills. In fact, she wrote the lyrics to all the songs, composing 7 of them.
Her first hit “Let’s Stay Friends” was released on a Folkton compilation tape. Her fateful meeting with Mitko Dimitrov and his wife Maria took place thanks to the owner of “Perfect Audio-Video” – Prodan Yordanov. Gloria meets the couple in the lobby of the Veliko Tarnovo Hotel.
