TURIN – Twitter account Juventus, @juventusfc, came under attack from netizens. This was after Juventus congratulated Sevilla on defeating Italy’s representatives, Inter Milan, by a score of 3-2 in the 2019-2020 European League final which took place earlier this morning.
“Congratulations @SevillaFC for the victory at @EuropaLeague,” wrote Juventus on their official Twitter account.

Actually there is nothing wrong with the above words. However, netizens sometimes think negatively of the Old Lady’s camp. Netizens think Juventus congratulated them on their happiness in the Italian League, Inter, being defeated by Sevilla in the top party.
It’s no secret, the relationship between Juventus and Inter’s management is rather bad. Especially when the case of fixing scores or Calciopoli hit Italian football in mid-2006.
At that time, Inter owner Massimo Moratti became a vocal figure in pushing the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) to have Juventus punished for the fixing case. As a result, Juventus were relegated to Serie B, plus started the 2006-2007 season with minus 30 points.

Not only that, the two Italian League titles won by Juventus in 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 were removed. The 2004-2005 title was left without a title, while the 2005-2006 trophy was awarded to Inter.
