Ryan Giggs has been charged with assault on two women. The football association of Wales then stated in a statement that “in the light of this decision” Giggs is not a national coach at the upcoming European Championship.
Assistant Robert Page leads the team in the final tournament, assisted by Dutchman Albert Stuivenberg.
Compulsive and obsessive behavior
The allegations against 47-year-old Giggs relate to an incident on November 1, 2020, Manchester police said. He is also being charged with compulsive and obsessive behavior between December 2017 and November 2020.
