JAKARTA – As known, Instagram has presented the Reels feature in Indonesia. The feature that was presented to compete with TikTok was positively welcomed by Instagram users in the country.
Reels invites Instagram users to create videos and share them with friends or anyone on Instagram. User can share the result with followers in Feed. And if you set your account open to the public, Reels can be seen by more people.
Reels in the Explore tab offers anyone the opportunity to become a content creator on Instagram and reach new audiences on a global stage.
Launching from the official Instagram page, Saturday (3/7/2021), how to make Reels is quite easy. Select Reels at the bottom of the Instagram camera.
Then a variety of creative editing tools will appear on the left side of the screen to help create Reels. These tools include Audio, AR Effect, Timer and Countdown, Align, and Speed.
Reels can be recorded in a series of clips (one at a time), all at once, or using video uploads from the phone gallery. Record a clip by pressing and holding the capture button.
Users will also see a progress indicator at the top of the screen while recording. Then stop recording to end each clip.
As mentioned earlier, Reels can be shared with followers and can be found by the large and diverse Instagram community in the Explore tab.
Once the created Reels are ready, move on to the sharing screen, where users can save draft Reels, change the cover image, add captions and hashtags, and tag friends.
After sharing the Reels, the results will be displayed in a separate Reels tab on the profile, so people can find the Reels that have been shared easily.
If the user also shares to the Feed, Reels will appear in the main profile grid, even though the user has the option to delete them.
Whether users use public or private accounts, users can share Reels to Stories, close friends, or in direct messages.
