Get to know the 3 Richest Women in Indonesia, Have Assets of IDR 21 Trillion

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Forbes this week revealed the figures of the richest people in Indonesia. These names also vary, from the youngest names, to the names of the richest women in Greater Indonesia.

There are three women’s names included in the list of the 50 richest people in Indonesia this year. The three women are Marina Budiman, Arini Subianto, and Kartini Muljadi.

1. Marina Budiman

The President Commissioner of the data center company PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) has assets of US$ 1.5 billion or around Rp. 21.5 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp. 14,350/US$) and ranks 30th on the list.

Marina is now 60 years old. He started his career with Otto Toto Sugiri in 1985 in banking and in 1989 joined Sigma Cipta Caraka.

Focus on the world of technology led Marina to establish Indonet in 1994. Indonet is known as the first internet service provider in the country. It took a long time to finally establish DCI in 2011 with Otto.

2. Arini Subianto

Arini is the eldest child of entrepreneur Benny Subianto. When Benny died in 2017, Arini became the heir to Benny’s billion-dollar business empire.

Currently, Arini is listed as the President Director of Persada Capital Investama, the holding company for a number of companies. A subsidiary of the Persada Group is engaged in wood processing, palm oil production, rubber and coal.

Persada Capital is also listed as a minority shareholder in PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO). In addition, Persada Group has also actively invested in a number of start-up companies since 2017.

Arini’s wealth at the age of 50 was recorded at US $ 975 million or around Rp. 14 trillion and brought it to the order of 44 richest people in Indonesia.

3. Kartini Muljadi

Kartini Muljadi’s name is no stranger to the Indonesian pharmaceutical world. By owning the largest pharmaceutical group in Indonesia, namely PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC). In addition, Kartini also owns the law firm Kartini Muljadi and Partners in the Sudirman area.

At the age of 91 this year, Kartini has assets of US $ 695 million or around Rp. 10 trillion and is in the position of the 50 richest people in Indonesia.
