Get started with the first PlayStation 5 games

How do you like the PlayStation 5 when you get started with the first games? We can answer that.

During our first experience with the PlayStation 5 we only had limited access to playable games. We had to make do with Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Astro’s Playroom. Two very nice games on the PS5, but of course I wanted more. In the meantime, we have started working on new games on the PlayStation 5. These are Sackboy: A Big Adventure (which has also appeared on PS4) and Demon’s Souls.

Best of all with the DualSense?

Whoever says PlayStation 5 says DualSense. The new controller of the PS5 is the calling card of the console. And you can immediately try out all facets of that new controller in Astro’s Playroom. The question, however, is which developers will indeed make good use of all the possibilities of DualSense.

Playing Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Demon’s Souls we hardly experienced the effects of the DualSense. The games will feel much the same with a normal controller. We could have done with a bit more here, but we are still at an early stage. In the coming years it will be a question of how many developers will use that potential. Or not.

Fast, beautiful and entertaining

Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Demon’s Souls were also great on PlayStation 5 when it comes to performance. Both games run very smoothly, have hardly any loading screens and look beautiful. Sackboy is more colorful than ever on PlayStation 5, while Demon’s Souls has an RPG world that really comes to life on the new console from Sony.

And now time for other games!

We’ve only covered games on PlayStation 5 that have been provided by PlayStation Studios so far. It is beautiful, but also almost natural that the games run great on the console. But what about third party games?

We are currently working on two interesting candidates on the PlayStation 5. Namely Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. So keep an eye on Apparata for our verdict on these two important games on the PlayStation 5!
