Get ready, things will heat up between Sam Wilson and General Ross!

The scenario of Captain America New World Order it becomes more and more precise. Marvel Studios are releasing the information drop by drop, but we already know enough about this fourth installment to understand that Sam Wilson will have his job to cut for his first solo misadventures.

Not only will the new shielded vigilante face a sneaky and formidable foe (Samuel Sterns, aka The Leader, played by Tim Blake Nelson), but he will also have to contend with Colonel Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. The character is known for his obvious dislike of the Hulk, the Avengers, and other empowered individuals.

We suspect it won’t make Sam Wilson’s job as the new Captain America easier. In any case, this is what the manufacturer promises Nate Moore during a recent interview with Collider magazine. The latter claims that things will heat up between the two characters.

It will spark!

General Ross is a complex character, sometimes a friend, sometimes an enemy of our heroes. He is best known for chasing Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, and attempting to kill him numerous times. He also tried to control the Avengers by enforcing the Sokovia Accords. And now that we know he will come in Captain America 4we guess it won’t be to make life easier for Sam, especially after the events that happened in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier miniseries.

In any case, Nate Moore promises sparks for Captain America 4. The producer specifically mentioned that Thunderbolt Ross threw Sam and his friends in prison in Captain America Civil War, and that tension will always be present between the general and the new Captain in New World Order: “There will be some natural sparks there, which I think will be really fun.”

Harrison Ford reprises the role

Nate Moore is also very excited about the arrival ofHarrison Ford in the MCU. The actor plays General Ross, who took over from William Hurt, who sadly passed away last March. Hurt had played the character from The Incredible Hulk, playing the character superbly.

Since then, fans have been curious to see how Harrison Ford will reclaim the role. Especially since General Ross will also be in the Thunderbolts movie which brings together a squad of anti-heroes made up of Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, US Agent, Ghost, Red Guardian and Taskmaster.

We’ll have to wait a little longer before we discover Harrison Ford in Thunderbolt Ross. Indeed, Captain America 4 and Thunderbolts won’t hit theaters until 2024.
