Deported with a “German Reich” passport – sent to prison by the Federal Police

From Monday to Tuesday (November 13th/14th), the federal police arrested a German national during border checks on the state road between Kufstein and Kiefersfelden who obviously belongs to the Reich citizen scene. The man was on foot and identified himself with a “German Reich” passport. Since this was a fantasy document, he was accused of forgery. A short time later, the officers took him to prison in Bernau. He will have to stay there for the next few months.

When the 32-year-old was supposed to be checked that night near the entrance to Kiefersfelden, he initially ignored the federal police. Only after repeated requests to stop did he stop. But he didn’t want to give any more details about his nightly hike or about himself. The passport he gave out, which was supposed to identify him as a member of the “German Empire”, was undoubtedly not authentic. He was temporarily arrested on suspicion of forging documents.

With the help of his fingerprints, the Rosenheim federal police were able to prove his identity. It also emerged that the Rosenheim native was wanted with an arrest warrant. Accordingly, he had already been sentenced to a fine by the Rosenheim district court in 2020 for bodily harm. However, he had not yet paid his legal debts of around 9,700 euros including legal costs. Even after his arrest by the federal police, he was unable to pay the sum demanded. He was therefore sent to the Bernau Correctional Facility for the alternative period of 132 days set by the court. In the coming months, behind bars, he can prepare for the fact that he will probably also have to answer for document offenses.
