There he frankly said that he does not perceive the New Year and Christmas as holidays. One of the reasons for this, he called his birthday – Depardieu was born on December 27.
Gerard said that his mother and father did not want him to be born and did everything so that the child was not born. However, contrary to circumstances, the boy nevertheless came to this world to become one of the most prolific actors of our time – during his career Depardieu starred in more than 180 films.
“My parents tried to do everything so that I was not born, but I still appeared. At that time, I was already a bad gift. From birth, I believed that you need to survive. Problems must be fought with a smile. I don’t know what holidays are, especially New Year and Christmas, ”he said openly.
Depardieu stressed – he tries not to celebrate these solemn dates and frankly does not understand the enthusiasm around significant days.
