George Baker only takes to the stage again when there is a vaccine against the corona virus. The singer is currently healthy, but belongs to the risk group and does not think he should risk his life for a performance, he says in the Wednesday AD.
“I am in the risk group myself,” said Baker. “So even if events continue in the long term, I will not be on stage as long as there is no vaccine.”
“It is too much of a risk for me to visit large crowds. I think you shouldn’t risk your life for a performance.”
Baker calls the corona crisis “a major misery” and is concerned that the situation surrounding the corona virus “will take a very long time, especially economically. I am certainly not optimistic in that regard.”
