One of the members of the Counter-Strike community: Global Offensive decided to create a gif that explains in an extremely simple way why high refresh rates are important in the game. It shows the advantage of a player with about 240 FPS compared to a user of 60 FPS.
What we can see is not only one big advantage, but there are definitely more of them
In the material below, we can see that a player with 240 FPS sees his image much smoother than the one with 60 FPS. The opponent does not cage and is much easier to hit. Moreover, at the end of the gif, we can see that the user with 240 frames per second sees his opponent faster than the one with 60.
Of course, what we see below is not the only advantage. At a higher frame rate, our eyes tire more slowly, the sight moves more easily, and our reaction time is much faster. In addition, the screen seems to be less torn and we can talk about lower input lag.
