Currently, 29 cases have been reported among workers and users. The outbreak affects many sectors.
During hatching, the CISSS asks visitors not to come to the center. However, caregivers are allowed.
Sectors affected by the outbreak:
- Short-term geriatric unit and intensive functional rehabilitation unit (UCDG-URFI)
- Inpatient unit
- Psychiatry
- CHSLD of Sept-Iles
- Overflow unit
- Pediatrics

The CISSS de la Côte-Nord maintains that washing hands with soap and water remains the best way to prevent the transmission of gastroenteritis.
