Caba: vaccination against covid-19 opens for adolescents between 12 and 17 years old without risk factors | Registration will be this Tuesday

Days ago, the City’s Health Minister, Fernán Quirós, had advanced that immunization for said age group was imminent. “In October we will start the vaccination with Pfizer in adolescents without previous illnesses,” said the head of the Buenos Aires health portfolio. And he added: “In three weeks we have an estimate that we can complete the first dose of all adolescents and three weeks later we will apply the second.”

Enrollment step by step

As usual, those who interested in registering must complete the following steps:

1. Login to buenosaires.gob.ar/vacunacovid.
2. Complete the personal data form.
3. An email, a WhatsApp message and a registration confirmation SMS will be sent.
4. Subsequently, the person will be contacted by WhatsApp, mail and / or SMS to make the assignment of the shift, and will be able to select the day, time and vaccination of preference through an online management system.

On the day of vaccination, the adolescent should approach the center on the day and time indicated in the shift. There you will be asked for your ID in the reception area and proof of registration.

After this instance, you must wait for the call from the health team to receive the vaccine. Once administered, it should be observed for 15 minutes. Once that period has elapsed, the neighbor will be given the corresponding certificate and he / she will be able to return home.

Then, within a period not exceeding 90 days, you will be contacted again in order to assign you the turn for the application of the second dose.

According to the data provided by the Public Vaccination Monitor, so far the City of Buenos Aires has applied 4,185,597 vaccines against covid-19. Of this total, 2,285,409 correspond to first doses while 1,876,706 people completed the inoculation scheme.
