Samsung has big plans for flexible smartphones; this year’s models Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 are selling very well, and the Korean giant wants to pay even more attention to the “puzzles” next year. This week, the news began to leak to the public successor models Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, now another piece of the puzzle is coming to us.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 and stylus shaft?
One of the biggest innovations of this year’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the stylus support, an element that was until recently the prerogative of the Galaxy Note model line. Perhaps the harder flexible display and stylus shaft directly in the body of the phone are missing for the perfection of the new solution; thus, the stylus must be worn separately or in a special cover.
Now it is actually certain that the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone will get the shaft for the stylus, so there are questions about whether it will receive the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The answer is quite clear NO.
No built in S Pen prototypes in Z Fold4
Will finalize around March.https://t.co/QeHgmt3Ugp https://t.co/fMCmIyY8Yi– Tron ❂ (@FrontTron) November 19, 2021
According to a reputable informant @FrontTron there is no Galaxy Z Fold 4 prototype that has a stylus shaft. Although the situation may change by March of this year, when the phone is being finalized, this is probably not the path that Samsung is thinking about.
