JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Even though they don’t have a legal background, Bambang Wuryanto or Bambang Pacul admits that they can’t refuse the task of becoming the Chairman of Commission III of the DPR.
“Please allow, because it was assigned by Pak Herman Hery (previous Chairman of Commission III of the DPR), it cannot be refused,” said Bambang in an internal meeting of Commission III of the DPR, Monday (22/11/2021).
Nevertheless, Bambang admitted that he did not really question his background because some of his predecessors were like that.
For example, Bambang mentioned that the previous chairman of Commission III of the DPR were Kahar Muzakir and Herman Hery.

“Only the two of them, asking for permission, have the ability to break the jungle, so they understand the law of the jungle very well. Well, Bambang Pacul doesn’t,” said Bambang to laughter from the meeting participants.
Furthermore, Bambang is confident that his fellow commissioners will assist him in understanding the very complex legal issues.
Moreover, according to the PDIP politician, the issue of law enforcement is an issue that rarely gets out of the spotlight of the media and the public.
Therefore, Bambang promised to capture the public’s aspirations in the field of law while supervising the agencies that are working partners of Commission III of the DPR.
“Everyone, we will listen to the voice of the people. What the people want. That is what we will formulate together with our friends in Commission III of the DPR,” said Bambang.
