(TSX: GLXY) (“Galaxy Digital” or the “Company”) today announced the appointment of Michael Daffey, former partner, Chairman of the Global Markets Division and member of the Management Committee at Goldman Sachs, as Senior Advisor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Galaxy Digital with effect from 1. September 2021 known.

Daffey has over 25 years of financial services experience at Goldman Sachs, most recently as a partner, chairman of the Global Markets Division and a member of the management committee. In that role, Daffey acted as a trusted advisor to some of Goldman’s most prominent clients and oversaw the implementation of the company’s new post-Brexit structure London out. Daffey built his career in the trading division of Goldman Sachs, where he rose to leadership positions. Among other things, he managed global share sales and sales of fixed income securities and currencies for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
