Almost a quarter of craft businesses are run by women. To honor these talents in craftsmanship, CMA France is organizing for the second year, in partnership with AG2R La Mondiale, the “Madame Crafts” prize.

Goal ? Promote the place of women business owners, employees and apprentices for their contribution to the local economy. Candidates have until January 29, 2021 to submit their application with the help of their Chamber of Trades and Crafts among the categories.

The Madame Artisanat Trophy rewards a woman business owner for at least 3 years, or all entrepreneurs who have finalized the takeover of a business. The Madame apprentice Trophy: rewards an apprentice in training in a CFA of the CMA network. The Madame Engagée Trophy: promotes daring projects, driving the economy of tomorrow in areas such as innovation, digital, social and solidarity economy, or having a positive impact on their territory. ? This year, the prize is sponsored by Nathalie Schraen-Gurima, columnist and TV host, and supported by the women’s networks “Bouge Ta Boite” and “FCE France”, an association of women entrepreneurs. “This trophy is a boost to female entrepreneurship. It highlights all the women who work in crafts, in all territories, by giving them a voice, by putting them on the front of the stage. However, these women all have one thing in common: an unwavering commitment and passion.
