Futsal – Brazil: Opponents of the Seleção at the Copa America 2022

The Brazilian national futsal team has its first opponents for the 2022 Copa America. The competition will take place from January 26 to February 6.

In their group for the 2022 Futsal Copa America, Brazil will face Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile in particular for the first phase of the tournament. Defending champion, the Seleção have the privilege of hosting the competition at home and a chance to keep the trophy in front of their home crowd. The second group of this Futsal Copa America is made up of Argentina, Paraguay, Venezuela, Bolivia and Peru.

The Seleção rather wary after the draw

Marquinhos Xavier, the Brazilian coach, spoke after learning about the opponents: “we have a great competitor who is Colombia. A team which, even if it has not been to the World Cup, is very strong and very competitive. We have another opponent who also didn’t go to the World Cup, but who was very close. This is Uruguay ”.
