A member of Commission VI of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Adian Napitupulu, insists that Pertamina tank fire in Cilacap occurred because there was sabotage even though the flash of lightning seemed to be caught on CCTV. He said it was funny when Pertamina’s tank fires were always caused by lightning.
“It’s a bit funny that lightning is always the reason for the burning of Pertamina’s refineries. If lightning is always the cause of the burning of refineries, then it proves at least two things,” said Adian when contacted, Tuesday (11/16/2021).
Adian explained, the first thing is Pertamina and all parties have never learned about the lightning incident. The second thing, according to him, means that Pertamina is so stupid that it can’t anticipate the lightning flash.
“First we don’t learn from similar events in the past that happened many times or we are so stupid that we can’t anticipate by making better lightning rods,” he said.
On that basis, Adian said there were several possibilities besides lightning that could cause a fire, namely human error and sabotage. He strongly suspects the existence of sabotage because fuel is an important sector for the lives of the people and the state.
“Starting from the thunder, human error or sabotage for various purposes. Why is sabotage a possibility? Because of the great importance of fuel for all sectors of people’s lives and the state. Fuel is important not only for farmers but also for workers to the police and army. That’s why oil refineries are included in the category of vital state objects,” he said.
