A new innovation launched Suzuki from MotoGP Japan 2022. Seeing as there are “rabbit ears” attached to the rear of the race car.
Suzuki introduced the new aerodynamic technology on its bike, during the free practice session of the MotoGP Japan 2022, on Friday (23/9/2022). A fin is attached to the tail of the motorcycle.
The shape of the wing looks cute, because it resembles rabbit ears. The shape is flat towards the top, then curved, like rabbit ears.

Initially, Suzuki asked test driver Takuya Tsuda to test it. However, Alex Rins so curious, until finally she was given the opportunity to try it out.

In the end, Alex Rins he was able to try ‘rabbit ears’ on his GSX-RR bike after getting good results in the first few minutes. Rins feels the impact in free practice MotoGP Japan 2022.
“I feel more stability at the rear, especially when braking,” Rins said of aerodynamics.
“It seems that, comparing the first lap with the second, he can brake a little harder in the corners. At least less vibrations,” he said.
In the end, Rins finished 13th in the first FP of the Japanese MotoGP. The wrong choice of tires made it less than optimal at the Motegi Circuit on the first day.
“Very, very disappointed. Because we were strong enough in free practice,” said Rins. “And in the end, when I put the last soft tire on, I liked a yellow flag for 2-3 laps! So I couldn’t develop it,” he said.

This season, Suzuki isn’t the only one to introduce a new aero wing. Ducati did it first at the Silverstone circuit, sporting dinosaur tail-shaped aerodynamics on its Desmosedici motorcycle.
