This is what the Broussaud factory, a specialist in the production of socks, installed at Les Cars, in Haute-Vienne, has done. The president of the company announced, around mid-October, that all his employees will receive an exceptional check of 200 euros to help them cope with this increase in prices at the pump, reports France Blue, Monday October 25.

The aid will be paid at the end of the month, along with the salary, and will concern the 60 employees of the site. “We feel that the employees are a little worn out. They are taking caps: a blow to electricity, a blow to gas, a blow such or such tax. We feel that they have had a loss of motivation or desire “, noted the CEO of the company to the local radio, explaining his gesture. If he concedes that in return for this help, the company will post a worse result at the end of the year, he still believes that “something had to be done to improve” somewhat in the weeks to come. of its employees.

Especially since the plant is located in a rural area, 30 minutes by car from Limoges, says the radio. A journey that is not without consequences for several employees, some of whom do not live nearby. With the media, an employee residing in Dordogne recognizes that this exceptional help will be very beneficial to her, she who travels 60 kilometers every day and must therefore fill up with gasoline per week approximately.

The CEO of Broussaud knows it, this kind of daily life is not easy to manage and this boost aims to lighten that of his employees as well as to put them forward: “A factory is not a robot (…) It is sometimes very complicated to find profiles.
