The Dresden Public Order Office is reacting to the current infection situation and is further intensifying its quarantine controls as part of the ongoing corona controls. From Monday, November 29, 2021, up to ten teams will be deployed. These check whether those affected are complying with the quarantine requirements. During the around 1,000 checks that have been carried out in this area since November 8, 2021, very good observance of the rules has so far been observed. No violations were recorded.

Alcohol consumption that has been stipulated in a general decree that has been in force since Thursday, November 25th, 2021. In addition, special attention is paid to compliance with the FFP2 mask requirement and the 3G regulation in local public transport. In buses and trains, in retail and at the 2G controls in restaurants, joint controls are regularly carried out by the public order office and the police. Since the tightened corona rules came into force in the second week of November, 207 violations have been reported in the course of the controls. 66 complaints related to infection protection violations in buses and trains, with missing 3G evidence being punished in 20 cases and incorrect or incorrectly worn mouth and nose covers in the other cases. 96 violations were reported in connection with the controls of catering establishments. Here, the necessary hygiene concepts and the recording of contact data were mostly inadequate or completely missing. During the follow-up inspections carried out, an estimated two thirds of the operators had rectified the deficiencies previously complained of.
