The artist Denisas Kolomyckis Ina had known her since adolescence, so the news of her friend’s sudden loss was very painful for him. She was a close member of the family, but it is even difficult for him to think about what Ina’s real family is going through at the moment.
“We last called 3-4 weeks ago. She was caring for and nursing her grandmother at the time. It is an infinitely painful loss, a tragedy, realizing the circumstances in which we lost it.
Ina was unique in her specialty, she was also unique as a person: extremely talented, sensitive, philosophical. I interacted closely with both her and her family. We kept in touch and when she was in Paris, we spent time there together.

Clearly, the hardest part right now is for the family. It’s a very unexpected, insanely difficult experience. Absolutely all the most beautiful words in the world travel to her.
I knew Ina when she seemed to be 12 years old. Her best friend was Gabrielė, the daughter of producer Jurga Dikčiuvienė. They were inseparable as sisters. And I was working with Šarūnas Bartas at that time. But being together wasn’t just a working relationship, we all felt like family. We spent summers, days and nights together. Yes, it was work, but at the same time I felt like I was allowed into the family. It hurts a lot because it was for me as a family member. I say “how” out of respect for Ina’s real family, because this loss is painful for friends and colleagues, but it is incomprehensibly painful for loved ones.
One of the most vivid memories of Ina is the summers we spent at the homestead in Bekupė. She got up early, picked up a few books, and sailed to the middle of the lake and read them from morning to evening. They did not eat, did not drink, only read one after another. And only in the evening, at sunset, did she return from the lake. For me, it is very clearly stuck in the memory and perfectly describes what a person she was – deep, philosophical “, – the interlocutor shared his thoughts.
Actor Laurynas Jurgelis worked with Ina on the Walden film. The artist assured her that both on the filming site and in real life, she was a very positive person to be trusted.
“Ina was actually very sensitive and had a very vivid world, which she often saw in her own way.
She didn’t have to chatter for a long time at work, just a few words were enough and she immediately understood what to do and how to play. The process in that film was quite long, for both of us it was the beginning of full-length films. There were challenges, but somehow we overcame everything together.

Both I and she are from the families of artists and we ourselves sought self-realization in the field of art, so we immediately felt a sense of community. When you interact with people who are not very exposed to such a world, there is a completely different contact, and with it everything was clear and simple because we have a similar background in life.

Although we were not very close friends, we have had to communicate outside of work. A few years ago I was in Paris where Ina studied, we met, we went to a concert, we visited cafes with a group of friends. And then she felt it fainas, a fun way, but also the depth of personality. “She was the one who didn’t become less of a friend without even communicating for a long time. Her purity, openness and sincerity were unspeakable, and her love for others and the world was unfathomable.
