08.24: Jonathan Shrager writes about some factors that apparently reduce the chance of that Frenkie de Jong becomes United player:
- Barcelona and Xavi want to keep De Jong.

08.10: It is rumored that Barcelona Frenkie de Jong may be available this summer, and just like Manchester United, Bayern Munich should have announced that they want to be kept informed of developments. It writes Spanish Sport.
08.00: Yesterday was Sebastian Haller mentioned in the rumor column. Today, the Ajax striker is connected to Germany. Both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich will be interested in the 27-year-old who has scored goals to order for Erik ten Hag. Goal.com and The Sun write about the interest from the Germans.
00.45: Jonathan Shrager has written a short summary of how he perceives the situation around Calvin Phillips, as United have been linked to lately.
Shrager, who has proven to have good sources within United, writes that there has still been no contact between the parties regarding a transfer.
The player himself reportedly prefers to stay at Elland Road, especially if Leeds stay in the Premier League. Negotiations on a new contract are expected to start as soon as Leeds have secured their place.

22.20: Bild-journalist Christian Falk writes that Bayern Munich are interested in Ajax stopper Jurriën Timber. The 20-year-old has also been linked with United since the appointment of Erik ten Hag.
18.50: Italian Corriere dello Sport mentions Nemanja Matic, Eric Bailly and Diogo Dalot as players José Mourinho may be interested in bringing to Rome. All three were brought to Old Trafford while the Portuguese was United manager.
Matic has already made it clear that he fleaves United after the seasonwhile Bailly and Dalot have contracts until 2024 and 2023 respectively. The club also has the option to extend the agreements of the two by another year.
15.30: London Evening Standard with former Manchester Evening News journalist James Robson writes that West Ham have told United current Declan Rice that they will reject every bid on him this summer.
12.20: There have been reports in Brazil in recent days that Palmeiras wanted it Andreas Pereira, which will already have a negotiated agreement with Flamengo. This information is rejected by a journalist who has been in contact with Pereira’s agent. By the way, Flamengo is in the think tank on whether they should buy Pereira for 10 million euros, as they should initially have an agreement with United. At the same time, the website points out that Phillips’ whole family apparently hates United, which gives some uncertainty as to whether the player himself will take this career step.
07.20: United could possibly let Erik ten Hag get an Ajax striker Sebastian Haller to United. It writes The Suns Charlie Wyettwho is not the newspaper’s normal United journalist.
Ten Hag had success with Haller both a bit in Utrecht and now in Ajax. In Ajax, he first scored 11 league goals in 18 games last season and this season there have been 20 in 27, as well as 11 goals in the Champions League. It is stated in the article that the price will be around 35 million pounds for the 27-year-old from the Ivory Coast, which in that case will mean that he will be a fairly cheap tip solution.

17.40: Antonio Rüdiger was on United’s radar earlier this season, but it soon became clear that the German Chelsea stopper would go to a club that could lure with Champions League games next season. Now the Spanish journalist reports Guillem Balague that Rüdiger and Real Madrid have agreed on a four-year contract.
Rüdiger’s contract with Chelsea expires after the current season and he therefore goes to Real Madrid for free.
08.05: We take this with a big pinch of salt, but we mention anyway that in Spain it is reported that Manchester United are considering using Marcus Rashford and Alex Telles in the negotiations on Frenkie de Jong. The newspaper Fichajes is the source – not among those with the best reputation in Spain.
08.00: Manchester United and Chelsea have been singled out as the most likely clubs for Declan Rice. Now Manchester City have also thrown themselves into the battle for the West Ham player, according to Telegraph.

20.30: Paul Pogba should have left The WhatsApp group that United players use to stay in touch. Before leaving the group, however, Pogba must have sent a message to his teammates that he will leave United this summer, writes Mirror.
17.05: Manchester United have selected three players they want this summer as part of the reconstruction under Erik ten Hag. Darwin Nunez, Jurrien Timber and Pau Torres are the three, writes Daily Mail.
At the same time, United will try to sell Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Anthony MartialAlex Telles and Aaron Wan-Bissakathe newspaper writes further.

14.04: Manchester Evening News writes that Marcus Rashford looking forward to working with Erik ten Hag.
Rashford wants more clarity about his role next season, but he accepts that he is not an important part of Ralf Rangnick’s team before the last four games this season. Rashford has been disconnected from the favorite club after a difficult period, where the performance on the field has matched poorly with what he, according to Rangnick and newspaper sources, should have delivered on the training field.
12.03: Ex-red Jordi Cruyff, who works for Barcelona, has the following to say about Frenkie de Jong (quotes taken from SPORT):
– We will not sell Frenkie de Jong. He is a player who is highly valued within the club.
11.28: The Athletics West Ham correspondent Roshane Thomas writes that West Ham are determined to keep Declan Rice this summer, but that they internally admit that they have to sell him in 12 months.
They have tried to get Rice to sign a new contract without success, and the hope is now to sell Rice for at least 150 million pounds in 2023.
The information agrees well with what has been said from other quarters before.
10.43: Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Antonio Rüdiger leaves Chelsea, but it does not appear that the German will end up at United. Most indications are that Real Madrid is his next club, and according to Fabrizio Romano, only small details remain before contracts can be signed.

09.19: I last week’s rumors became Barcelona Frenkie de Jong connected to United by Spanish SPORT, and El Chiringuito TV journalist Jose Alvarez also reports that United are interested in the Dutchman, and he otherwise says that Barcelona are willing to sell the 24-year-old for 70 million euros.
Barcelona has some good midfielders, and the economy is definitely a factor for Barcelona at the moment, which has been reported by other teams as the reason why Barcelona may be willing to sell the midfielder.
Xavi has also been asked about De Jong’s futureand he has expressed that he will keep De Jong if it is up to him.
