Louise Deroide, resident of the Union des Nageurs de Ploërmel (Morbihan) for several years is having a thunderous end to the season.

Earlier in the season, she became French Ugsel champion in the 100m breaststroke event in Cambrai, at the France Ugsel championships.

This performance and this ranking earned her a selection as a representative of France at the “Fisec Games”, a kind of world sports championship in Catholic education, which this year takes place in Dunkirk.

Three gold medals

These championships brought together many countries.

Louise flew over the competition in her favorite strokes since she won:

The 50 breaststroke in 34.35 (Morbihan record all categories)

The 200 breaststroke in 2:40.90 (Morbihan record in all categories and FISEC game record)

She finished 2nd in the 100m Breaststroke in 1:15.21

She finished 3rd in the 100m freestyle in 1:03.00

She won the 4x100m medley relay with the French women’s team with a 100m breaststroke swam in 1:14.36

She therefore brings back from these championships three gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze medal.

Louise will then continue with the French Open summer championships in Poitiers where she will try to confirm these incredible times in the face of much denser and tougher adversity.
