Found without difficulty, he was placed in police custody in November 2022 and placed under judicial supervision on January 30, 2023, with a ban on contact with minors.
Investigators found more than 2,000 exchanges, 3 000 imagesvideos, and chats with a 14-year-old minor, soliciting him for nude photos.
Downloads “in spite of himself”
The young man, who is interested in “normal” pornography, said he found himself trapped and theobject of blackmail.
He then says that he made downloads “in spite of himself”, without having looked at what was inside, to send them to his threatening interlocutor.
An argument that convinced neither the president of the hearing nor the magistrate of the prosecution: ” 800 downloads, 3 000 images of abused minors, very young, prepubescent, including one five years sexual object of an adult, it is not in spite of you, it is a drift. »
He recognizes hearth in child pornography exchanges
The defendant admitted to having engaged in child pornography exchanges since 2020.
The court was kind enough to consider that the young man, at the start, did not voluntarily consult or save the impugned files. But he held against him the fact thathe kept them and above all distributed them.
A six-month prison sentence and a suspended sentence
Convicted of possession and dissemination of images of minors taken as objects sexualthe student was sentenced to a 6-month prison sentence accompanied by a probationary suspension for 2 years with the obligation of psychological care.
He is prohibited from engaging in any activity with minors for 3 years. Given his young age, the court rejected his registration in Fijais, but the request for the non-registration of the conviction on the bulletin n° 2 of sound locker was rejected. His phones were confiscated.
